**NEW** Cruise into the Past-Historic Boat Tour of White Bear Lake

Three tour dates:  Class 1524.400 Tue June 15, Class 1524.401 Tue July 13, Class 1524.402 Tue Aug 10, 6 – 8 pm, $29 each

Your steady driver and knowledgeable guide will tantalize you with images of the days past and present as you skim the shore of White Bear Lake, Birchwood, Mahtomedi, Dellwood and White Bear Township.  This tour is presented by the White Bear Lake Area Schools Community Services & Recreation Department and reservations must be made in advance with them.  Here is a link to the complete catalog. Marketfest

Every Thursday, 6 – 9 pm, June 17th – July 29th

Marketfest is a free family festival in beautiful downtown White Bear Lake that features live entertainment, fine art, a variety of foods, children's activities, a farmers market, a classic car show and much, much more. The White Bear Lake Area Historical Booth is in front of the Cobblestone Cafe.  Be sure to stop by and check out all our latest events and news, play some games or purchase your tickets to our annual 10 home historic house tour scheduled for September 26th.

**NEW** Flyers, Food and Fun at Benson Airport

Saturday, June 26, 2010, 9 am – Noon, Benson Airport, 5860 Highway 61 N, White Bear Township

Featuring flight demonstrations, displays of vintage airplanes, and the history of Benson Airport.  The Young Eagles program will be providing free flights to young people, ages 8 – 17.  Free event but donations are welcome.  Presented by Benson Airport, Young Eagles and White Bear Lake Area Historical Society.

Historic Pub Crawl!!

Tuesday, June 29, 6 - 9 pm

Stroll historic downtown White Bear Lake and visit some of our oldest establishments while you discover their stories.  Your knowledgeable guide will share the tales of proprietors past and local lore.  Presented by the White Bear Lake Area Historical Society.  Reservations required.
